                                                                                        DECLARATION

We hereby declare that Self-Determination is a fundamental aspect of human rights that must be respected by every nation and every country in the world.

The indigenous population of West Papua is a nation that still has the right to self-determination. The West Papuans’ struggle for Self-Determination is in accordance with the international standard of human rights, democracy, and principle of International law and the charter of the United Nations.

We declare that the struggle of West Papuans’ for the rights of self-determination to be completely ‘independent and sovereign ‘in our own land comes from our innermost desire. In order to achieve this as well as provide welfare and prosperity to our Indigenous population, a collective national consciousness has been realized in recent years that West Papuans must unite and work within an organized system.  From this awareness, we declare that the signing of the petition to support the campaign of International Supervised Vote for West Papua must be carried out throughout the territory of West Papua and continue to build the unity of the people of West Papua towards the rights of self-determination.

The signing of a petition to support the campaign of International Supervised Vote for West Papua has begun on 1 March 2017 to 31 June 2017
